What do verses 1-3 tell us about Paul’s aims in his life? Make a list.
Verse 2 tells us that what we do for the Gospel today has eternal implications. When you tell someone about Jesus, eternity breaks into today. When someone becomes a Christian, their eternity is reversed from awful curse to a limitless joy. When you meet as a church, it is the most significant event happening in your town.
Does the balance of ministry in our church favor seeking the salvation of the lost or growth of believers? Is this the way it should be?
